Analysis of software and hardware systems used in testing the on-board control systems

The paper analyzes the existing control and measurement systems; besides, an approach was selected to build a system for testing the on-board modules. The existing open standards for constructing a control and measurement system were comparatively analyzed, their disadvantages and advantages were identified, and a conclusion was made on advisability of introducing the selected standard and the selected environment in constructing the automated control system. Based on the data obtained, it was concluded that modular approach to building a system for testing the on-board control modules was the most suitable. As a result of comparing standards in constructing a control and measurement system, another conclusion was made on advisability of using the PXI standard due to the significantly higher maximum possible reference frequency. This indicator appears important, since the control and measurement system with the highest output reference frequency would make it possible to work with a larger number of the control objects. The work results in comparative analysis of the existing open standards for constructing a control and measurement system, as well as in finding approaches and tools required in design and development of the elaborated system.
