Analysis of the Generation X and Millennial Values

The theory of the generational division of society in Russia and the Commonwealth of Independent States developed by Evgenia Schamis was investigated. Values of generations X and Y (millenials) were analyzed. The social survey aimed at prioritizing economic and family values was prepared and conducted. The results of the social survey were analyzed and the most probable distributions of values in the economic and family sphere of generations X and Y were highlighted, the trend of changing values of different generations was determined. It is concluded that the older generation more values stability in life, while the younger generation strives for self-realization and learning new things.
