Digital twins of objects allow not only to predict the behavior of fundamentally new structures, but also to consider the existing ones in more detail. They provide the implementation of experiments that are impossible under natural conditions, which can adversely affect the safety of the reactor installation, or be impracticable due to the large size of the measuring equipment (sensors). The aim of the work is to build a digital model of a pressurized water reactor vessel, which will allow performing a preliminary analysis of the structure’s strength. A digital model of the high-power pressurized water reactor vessel has been developed. Authors carried out a strength study using Ansys Mechanical APDL v. 17.2, which proved the possibility of using this model in calculations.
