Comparison of methods for determining the mechanical characteristics of adhesive joints

Some important tests for determining the strength of adhesives based on international standards are considered. The essence of tests for determining the mechanical characteristic of adhesives for the design and optimization of mechanical engineering is shown. Several important mechanical characteristics of adhesives and methods of measuring these adhesive characteristics are listed. Information on methods for measuring the strength of adhesives is given. A comparison of different methods for measuring the strength of adhesives is made. The main advantages of measuring adhesive torsional strength in terms of measuring adhesive force are highlighted. The importance of measuring bond strength in the development of adhesives and their use is shown.
