Calculation of elastic deformation of four-roll systems of sheet rolling mills from the action of the rolling force

The authors propose an alternative approach to calculating the elastic deformation of four-roll systems of sheet rolling mills from the action of the rolling force. This method makes it possible to determine the static deflections of four-roll systems taking into account the contact interaction of the rolls and the geometric characteristics of the back-up rolls and the work rolls sections. Calculation of roll deflection according to the proposed method allows obtaining results that are as close to real ones as possible.
