The main aspects of industrial design as applied to the design of a surgical robotic complex for knee arthroplasty are considered. Since this type of surgery is currently in high demand and the Russian market is experiencing a shortage of appropriate medical equipment, the topic of developing a specific surgical complex gains scientific novelty. In this regard, special importance is given to industrial design as one of the promising modern types of design activity. The article consistently describes the solution to each of the set design problems, reflects the process of finding these solutions and identifies the tools by which it was carried out. According to the results of the research, it can be concluded that industrial design allows to make innovative products more ergonomic and attractive.
