Measuring spatial parameters of objects fixed on video images

The article is devoted to the study of video images, especially to the measurement of the spatial parameters of objects (establishing their sizes and distances between them) on video images, which are examined by a forensic expert in the field of forensic examination of video images. The concept of photogrammetry is disclosed, a general characteristic of one-dimensional, two-dimensional and three-dimensional measurements of objects of video images investigated in the framework of forensic examination is given. Practical examples of determining the size of objects recorded on video images are given, as well as examples of establishing approximate human height in an image using specialized software AmpedFIVE.
