The paper considers a personnel motivation system as one of the principles of the lean manufacturing concept. It proposes a model of a system to involve and motivate the organization's personnel based on the Herzberg's two-factor theory of motivation and the Gerchikov's work motivation typology. The company's personnel satisfaction is analyzed by the hygienic and motivating factors. Solutions are identified producing a beneficial effect on the factors under consideration. Motivation profile of the company's personnel is being analyzed. Incentives for each type of work motivation are listed according to the Gerchikov’s typology. Recommendations are formulated for managers at the lean manufacturing enterprises on motivating and involving employees in the work process.
