Aircraft control is based on information from navigation systems. Navigation systems have a variety of inaccuracies due to design features and operating conditions. To improve the accuracy of navigation information, a combination of various measuring systems of the aircraft is used — the navigation complex (NC). As a rule, the basic NC system is an inertial navigation system. This article reviews the most common type of navigation system. The features of the correction of the inertial navigation system (INS) from satellite systems using the estimation algorithm are studied. To improve the accuracy of navigation information, it is advisable to use algorithmic correction of navigation systems. The accuracy of the INS of aircraft was improved by algorithms of error compensating in the output signal of the system.
