The paper describes a method of using artificial intelligence for writing musical compositions with their subsequent use for commercial purposes. The autors carried out a comparison of various types of artificial intelligence for writing musical compositions according to the following criteria: the number of processed works; time required for training; the uniqueness of the works created; works completeness; number of genres; time required to create one composition; available functions; the possibility of finalizing the created works; endorsement from the music community; service cost. A table for comparing indicators was formed and artificial intelligence was determined that meets the necessary criteria for writing musical compositions for commercial purposes.
