Such a user characteristic for choice of multiple access protocol as packet collision rate is considered. The expression for calculation of this characteristic is given. The expression for calculation of radiochannel multiple access coefficient for a collective traffic source has been analyzed. Options have been proposed for increasing the capacity of radiochannel shared by subscribers with arbitrary packet collision traffic. It is concluded that for a network in which users with low traffic, generating single-packet message streams and requiring prompt transmission, it is more advantageous to organize information exchange based on the S-aloha random multiple access protocol.
