Alternative wireless technologies

As of today, the wireless networks, or radio networks, became widespread in the data transmission. This is due to their ease in use, low cost and acceptable throughput. The paper examines in detail current state of the wireless communication protocols, which are quite unpopular compared to the recognized Wi-Fi and Bluetooth technologies, evaluates prospects for their application and compares them with each other in certain parameters important both for a particular company and for an ordinary person. Analysis contributes to selection of the most optimal wireless data transmission standard in organizing the efficient network.
