The article deals with the reasons for increasing deviance and with the main forms of contemporary deviant activities. We present the studies of asocial processes in society of W. H. Sheldon and C. Lombroso, E. Swedenborg, Ё. Durkheim, R.K. Merton and others. We conclude that deviance in youth is first and foremost the result of socialisation and depends on the interaction with the social environment.
