From the point of view of psychology and cognitive science, we examined an issue of rational thinking and its application in everyday life and in solving the problems of philosophical truth. We gave some data on current research into cognitive distortions. We also considered Bayesian approach to probability theory and the process of judgment scoring. Finally, we made conclusions about the most reasonable way of thinking in learning the world, decision-making, judgment scoring and global risks analysis.
