Specificity of Pedagogical Techniques of Cultural Studies Professor in Technical Universities

The features of teaching humanities disciplines in technical university are analyzed. The requirements to humanities teachers are formulated: about clear structuring of scientific information; about application of the received knowledge both to practical tasks of professional activity, and to the solution of real life problems; about widening of students' outlook and formation of personal qualities necessary for representatives of technical professions. Recommendations for organizing the study of culturology in technical universities are given: the connection of theoretical and practical aspects of the discipline; knowledge of the advantages and disadvantages of using different teaching methods; the ability to develop and maintain students' interest in the discipline.
