The opinion of students and trainees on the use of digital technologies in the educational process was investigated. According to both students and professors, a variety of digital tools are necessary for students to achieve the intended learning outcomes. However, there are certain limitations in the application of such tools, because distance technology should not completely replace the educational process. Students and faculty have been shown to view the use of digital technology positively. For the teaching staff, one-way communication technologies are the most preferred, students prefer interactive technologies providing two-way communication.
