Evaluating the competitive abilities of the leading it-companies

The article analyzes the competitive ability (CA) of the three leading international IT-companies based on the annual research conducted by Forbes magazine. The authors list the fundamental types of the key success factors (KSF) and elicit ten KSFs having an impact on the companies’ CA. Using the methods of weighted sum and expert evaluation we have constructed a standard model with the best values for the CA. The article considers the financial reports of the three leading international IT-companies, provides the generally available statistical data and analyzes the companies’ websites in order to compare their potential growth. We identify the most competitive company. The work finds out the dependences of the CA on several factors and conducts the CA sensitivity analysis.
