The paper reviews the most rapidly developing and promising industries where vanadium and its compounds can be used. The collected information is selected to be as accessible as possible for understanding and assimilation by a wide range of readers. The aim of the work is to collect relevant information about the use of vanadium in the modern world in order to arouse the interest of readers in this topic, and to encourage several of them to research activities. This review will be useful both for people whose research is directly related to vanadium and for those who wish to broaden their horizons. The results of the review allow us to assess the prospects of using vanadium and its compounds in our time, as well as learn about the latest news and developments directly related to the metal.
