The paper presents an overview of space technologies for water treatment designed and developed to solve the water supply problems. The K2M water regeneration system is considered, which reproduces pure water from the atmosphere moisture condensate providing a partial cycle closure at the space station. A review was made of international water filtration technologies developed by the National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), which later found large-scale application on the Earth, as well as of technologies for identifying the underground aquifers with the space radars. In the context of the global population growth, as well as of the development of industry and agriculture, the issue of careful reuse of water resources requires close attention of the science.
