Development of a knowledge base for an intelligent aircraft control loop

The paper considers the main directions and stages of introduction of on-board expert systems into the composition of flight-navigation systems of aircraft, which supplement the capabilities of the crew to control the aircraft in special situations. On the example of a group of special situations associated with the state of inertial navigation systems, a methodology for constructing the main component of an expert system, the knowledge base, is considered. State diagrams were developed and presented, describing the logic of the formation of expert conclusions, tables of logical rules and formed recommendations. An example of offline testing of the resulting knowledge base is considered.
